Our Wood

We offer the finest seasoned Mountain Pine bundles to convenient stores, gr0cery stores, truck stops and camp grounds. We use a heavy gauge of plastic rap to insure the heat and cold will not affect the integrity of the bundle. We offer a 100% guarantee for all our wood and will exchange any problem bundles for any reason.

Mountain Pine: Ours comes from Wyoming and has been dead standing for a few years, it is seasoned and burns hot and clean. It does burn faster than harder woods like Cedar, Pinion and Oak.

Cedar: Is easy to light, burns hot and clean. It smells good and creates a nice atmosphere with the popping and crackling sounds. Our Cedar come from the Cedar City area and has been dead and seasoned for at least 2 years.

Oak: Is a very hard wood and burns for a long time. It is very dense and burns very clean and hot. It is important to burn only seasoned Oak as it will not stay lit if it is green or wet. A cord of green Oak could produce as much as 55 gallons of water.

Pinion: Pinion is a very popular firewood, it is harder, more dense, and has a higher BTU than Pine. It has a nice aroma, lights easily, burns long and produces little ash. Pinion will not crackle and spit as much as Cedar. Our Pinion is the "Gray Barkless Pinion" and has been seasoned for over 5 years.
